A Veteran-Owned Tree Care Company Built on Certified Arboriculture

Our driving focus is diagnosis before prescription.

High N Tight Yards was founded in July 2018 by a Marine Corps veteran who brought military discipline and attention to detail into a completely different field: the health of trees. What began as a landscaping company quickly grew into something more specialized. As our founder took on more tree work across Corsicana, Streetman, and the surrounding area, it became clear that trees needed more than routine maintenance. They needed the same kind of diagnostic thinking that any complex, living system requires. That realization set the direction for everything High N Tight Yards has become since.

From Landscaping to Certified Arboriculture

Early on, our founder traveled to Dallas to learn tree work directly, training in pruning, removal, and stump grinding under experienced hands in a faster-paced, high-volume market. That experience built a strong technical foundation, but it also revealed a gap in the industry: most tree companies stop at cutting and hauling. Few go further to understand why a tree is declining, what's happening below the soil line, or how to protect a tree's long-term health rather than just managing its appearance. That gap became the reason High N Tight Yards exists in its current form today.

Backed by ISA Certification

In 2021, driven by a genuine interest in the biological side of tree care, our founder pursued and earned ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) certification, with a focus on plant health care and tree preservation. High N Tight Yards holds ISA Certified Arborist credentials under certification number 305031, verifiable directly through the International Society of Arboriculture at isa-arbor.com and has two certified arborists on staff. This certification represents a body of knowledge that goes well beyond cutting technique: soil science, plant pathology, structural risk assessment, and preservation-first treatment planning. Our founder continues pursuing the ISA's Board Certified Master Arborist distinction, the highest level of credentialing in the field, but the certification already earned is what shapes every diagnosis and care plan today. Since 2021, plant health care has become the primary focus of the business, supported by a full-service tree care division that handles the structural and safety side of tree ownership.

Deep Roots Around Richland Chambers Reservoir

For the past six to seven years, High N Tight Yards has worked extensively on properties around Richland Chambers Reservoir, building a strong reputation among homeowners and property owners who value long-term tree health as much as immediate tree work. That local, hands-on experience across Corsicana, Streetman, Fairfield, Kerens, Wortham, Teague, and Rice has shaped how the company approaches every property: not as a one-time job, but as a long-term relationship built around the health of the trees on that land.

Two Divisions, One Diagnostic Standard

High N Tight Yards operates two dedicated divisions. Tree Services handles removal, pruning, stump grinding, lot clearing, and emergency storm response, the structural and safety-focused side of tree ownership. Health & Preservation handles the biological side: plant health care, cabling and bracing, lightning protection systems, soil analysis and amendments, fertilization, deep root treatments, and insect and disease management. Rather than treating every tree the same way, our team diagnoses first and treats second, matching the right specialist and the right approach to what each tree actually needs.

A Process Built Around Trust, Not Pressure

Every relationship starts with an in-person estimate and a customized care plan built specifically for your property. From there, you decide what to prioritize, by line item and by budget, so the plan reflects what matters most to you rather than a pre-packaged bundle. We handle liability and insurance documentation before any work begins, and most projects are scheduled within one to three weeks. Payment isn't required until the work is fully completed to your satisfaction. That structure exists because we believe trust should be earned through completed work, not collected upfront.

Serving Corsicana, Streetman, and Fairfield

High N Tight Yards proudly serves residential and commercial properties throughout Corsicana, Streetman, Fairfield, Kerens, Wortham, Teague, Rice, all of Ellis County, and a 45-mile radius surrounding our base in Streetman. While the majority of our work is residential, particularly plant health care for homeowners protecting mature trees and established landscaping, our team also supports commercial properties that need consistent, certified tree management across a larger footprint.
